India-US relation moving forward with 2+2 meet scheduled for December 2021

According to a press release of Green Grids Initiative- One sun One world One grid Northwest Europe Cooperative event by Press Information Bureau (News agency of Government of India) released on 13th October 2021, ‘The idea for the One sun One world One grid (OSOWOG) initiative was put forth by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, at the First Assembly of the International Solar Alliance in October 2018. He had called for connecting solar energy supply across borders. In May 2021, the United Kingdom and India agreed to combine forces of the Green Grids Initiative and the One sun One world One grid initiative and jointly launch GGI-OSOWOG at the COP26 (Climate Change Conference) summit being hosted by the UK at Glasgow in November 2021’.

India with second largest population in world is moving forward with more than 95 crore Indians vaccinated

People were not treating it as a life saving step but were reluctant about the minor side effects it showed on some individuals. But today, approximately 66% of the Indian population is vaccinated with single dose and are moving forward speedily, as per the official data. According to the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, around half of the 18+ Indian population of the country have received at least one dose of the vaccination. Adding on to his statement, he said, ‘23% of the Indian population under 18+ have been fully vaccinated with both the doses. And that it is all because of the hardwork some states put in during the drive.’
